Dallas, TX - 5/4x6 random length Cumaru with hidden clips.

2nd Place - DJ W. - Tigerwood Deck Tiles

Georgetown, TX - We used a mix of woods to create a rustic yet timeless design. This project was designed by my wife and I and inspired by the country feel of our property. The cedar deck and tongue and grove fly away cover pair beautifully with tigerwood 2 x 2 deck tiles. The construction was completed by a local company but the deck tiles were hand trimmed and installed by myself and our neighbor. Who, by the way used your Cumaru tiles on his deck. We utilized 240 tiles complemented by beveled tigerwood trim. The love the casual elegance of materials and beauty created by the warm wood colors against our trees. We look forward to enjoying our deck for many years to come.

The wood was recently cleaned and Ipe oil Applied. I had the aluminum frame custom built and powder coated. I installed the gate along with the wood. Bob R - Cumaru 24x24 Deck Tiles

Chesterfield, VA - Original composite deck was 10 years old. The railing system was based on white vinyl fence sections with vinyl sleeves over the 4X4 posts. Our decision to use cumaru 24" X 24" tiles was based on our online research where we came across an ad for Advantage Lumber, followed up with my initial contact with Shawn Morgan. We had initially decided to re-use the white vinyl railing system with the new cumaru deck tiles, but once we saw them together we realized that it would be a mistake not to use the cumaru 4X4 posts integrated with a black metal railing system... another recommendation from Shawn. The subsequent results were awesome. Your sales support team, specifically Shawn Morgan & Ryan Foreman helped us every step of the way in making the right decisions on both the cumaru deck tiles and the 4X4 posts. Because the original deck sub-structure was based on 16" CC joists it required a substantial amount of rework to accommodate the 24"X24" tiles... but it was definitely worth it. Our deck has now become the absolute "must see" deck in our neighborhood.

We decided to build it up to the backdoor level, cover and make an outdoor room we could enjoy and we have. We found Advantage Lumber via the web and found you to be very helpful by sending samples to us and we chose Cumaru. The builders, who have worked with wood for years were impressed at the hardness and beauty of it as were we. These are pictures, some when done 3 years ago and some are taken last night and today. Pic #1..Night view of the beautiful floor Pic#2 shows how we took and incorporated the cumaru and concrete to create a step down 2nd patio.
