This impressive homeowner-built deck in Lafayette, California, is constructed with durable 5/4 pre-grooved Ipe decking and solid 4x4 Ipe corner posts, built over a sturdy pressure-treated frame. Ipe is widely considered the ultimate decking material due to its legendary lifespan and natural resistance to the elements. To complement the dark, rich tones of the floor, Tigerwood was used to frame the custom hog-wire railing system.
